Welcome to
The Association for Adverse Reactions – Covid19 Vaccination
The association's purpose is to work towards the recognition, investigation and treatment of side effects after vaccination against Covid-19.
The purpose is also to increase knowledge about and disseminate complications after vaccination against Covid-19.
The association is not political and does not appear to discuss the handling of Covid-19 or vaccination in general.
Thanks to VIVE for involving the association in
“Evaluation of the Danish handling of the Covid-19 epidemic“

WE ARE PART OF CVIA
FOCUS ON VACCINE INJURIES – WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?
- Patients with PACVS (Post Acute Covid-19 Vaccine Syndrome) cannot currently receive the right treatment and are left to fend for themselves.
- Research and knowledge gathering are important in order to help PACVS patients and avoid vaccinating people who may be exposed to developing serious disease in connection with future vaccines.
- It is expensive for society not to help patients. They cannot contribute to the labor market and end up on transfer income, while resources in the public health system are wasted on sending patients to specialists who do not have the tools to help them. At the same time, compensation cases will grow in scope the longer PACVS patients are sick.
WHAT CAN YOU DO TO HELP?
NEW – We have prepared a new questionnaire survey on side effects and the status of the patients' situation, for association use. This form has been developed with the aim of shedding light on the seriousness of the side effects, the challenges the patient group experiences in the healthcare system and the situation it leaves the patients in.
We are trying to gain an overview of the content of the Patient Compensation Board's rejection of vaccine injury cases. We appreciate your help in gaining more knowledge.
You are entitled to receive compensation if you have suffered financial, physical or psychological loss. We will continue to fight for this to be respected, as we know that compensation may be necessary to afford private medicine and treatment.
Telling your side effect story can give others the opportunity to understand what it means to be affected by side effects.
It can also give others in the same situation the opportunity to reflect on their experiences and feel less alone in the fight for recognition and treatment.
Click here and fill out the form if you would like to tell your story.
It is possible to be anonymous.
If you want to help us all learn more about vaccine side effects, you can participate in international research here.
If you experience side effects after vaccination, we encourage you to report them to the Danish Medicines Agency and seek compensation. so that the authorities can get a better overview of the extent and consequences of the side effects.

.

DO YOU NEED TO TALK TO OTHER SIDE EFFECTS SUFFERERS?
If you feel alone or desperate in the fight for recognition and treatment, you are welcome in our Facebook group. The group is a support network and functions as a platform for the exchange of experiences.
If you are experiencing late effects after Covid-19 infection, you can visit the Danish Covid Association's website here.
"I would like to take a stab here at the group of citizens we have already mentioned who are currently being overlooked. And these are the citizens who have experienced a new illness after vaccination."
[…] they are stuck in limbo because we don't know enough about the side effects. No one knows how to take care of them.
They have not received recognition for their side effects. They don't get any help and no treatment. We can't be that familiar. It's indecent and it's something that I think we have to take on our shoulders and get it lifted as quickly as possible.”

“When you roll something out to the population, you obviously also have a responsibility to follow up on good things and bad things, and that also applies to those who are affected by side effects. […] And therefore it is of course important that we follow up on those who come to us and say: 'We have these symptoms after the vaccine – what do we do?'. […] So I would say, regardless of the reason why people are sick, if people are sick, it is our responsibility to try to help them. That is why we have a healthcare system.”

25/7-2024 – The Danish Health Authority believes that the responsibility for treating PACVS patients lies with the general practitioners and specialists in the 5 Danish regions, who, however, are rarely able to help the patients. Therefore We have sent open letters to the 5 regions, with the aim of establishing qualified investigation and treatment. You can read the letters and the response below.
